Packaging Specialist (Primary Packaging Development and Optimization)
The Jobs
- Develop and follow up on packaging structural design (die-cut drawing) to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and alignment with our sustainability goals.
- Handle optimization projects to improve pack sizes, cost effectiveness and efficiency of the flow of goods from factories to warehouses and stores.
- Develop packaging specifications and guidelines, and provide training to Merchandising Departments, Suppliers and Printer Houses.
- Support the Project Manager in tracking primary packaging development and improvement of optimization process.
- Set up and maintain database on die-cut and material library.
Requirements
- Diploma holder in Printing, Packaging, Graphic Design or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing packaging structural design, preferably in printer house.
- Knowledge of Packaging Sustainability and Circular Economy.
- Creative, solution-oriented and with good design sense.
- Good communication skills and able to work effectively as part of the team in a cross-cultural environment.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin) is a must.
- Proficient in design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, InDesign, Digital Illustrator, etc.
