We are currently inviting a talented professional to join our Bangkok office, Thailand for the exciting role below.

The Job

• Sourcing new Food and Fresh produce suppliers in Asia according to customer requirements.
• Follow-up Food and Fresh produce orders with vendors, customers, external and internal parties to ensure customers’ satisfaction and on-time delivery.
• Manage current suppliers relationship and performance.
• Negotiate with vendors to meet customer’s expectation in term of price and quality requirements.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance team in order to ensure that products meet customer’s requirement.
• Arrange sample submission to customers for approval.
• Organize and accompany buying/sourcing trips with customers.
• Maintain and update order-processing system.
• Proactively source new products, look for new idea to serve the demand of market.
• Handle assigned project to develop new products from beginning (including sourcing, supplier selection, tendering/negotiation, layout development, first production and shipment) until product is launched.
• Perform other ad hoc duties

Requirements

• Tertiary education or University degree in Agro Science and Food Science or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in Food and or Fresh produce industry and/or food export.
• Familiar with German/European market and legal requirements.
• Energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented and independent working style.
• Eager to work in a team in order to achieve best results.
• Good MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook) skills.
• Good command of both spoken & written English.
• Candidate who can communicate Chinese (both spoken and written) will be highly considered.
• Willing to Travel independently.
