Given that many of the products sourced by REWE Far East are produced in emerging and developing countries like China, Bangladesh or India, we take responsibility to act in accordance with ethical and ecological standards. Following, our sustainability efforts can be divided into either Fairness or Resource Conservation, which clusters all our social and environmental related measures respectively.Together with our suppliers, we are continuously looking to increase our share of sustainable cotton in order to achieve our target of 100% sustainable cotton by 2025. Hence, we are encouraging our suppliers to procure cotton certified by Cotton Made in Africa (CmiA)or the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
